4. Medical Illness Policy

As the owner of the pet(s) named above, I understand that CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT, its employees, officers, and agents will exercise due care and diligence to protect the health and safety of my pet(s) while in their care. In the event my pet becomes ill or sustains an injury, I agree to have CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT call the emergency contact provided above regarding my pet's symptoms and treatment options. However, if I as the owner or authorized contact cannot be reached, I agree to and consent to the veterinarian retained by CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT to render care for my pet(s) and agree to full payment of all fees for such medical care.

5. Medical Information

To prevent the spread of disease while your pet(s) is in our care, dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. It is the responsibility of the owner to provide proof of vaccination history for each pet boarding. The vaccinations must have been administered by a veterinarian prior to arriving at our facility or by a veterinarian of our choice prior to admittance and at the owner's expense or they cannot be allowed to board. To ensure the protection and safety of all the pets and in compliance with state law, vaccinations must be up to date ten (10) days prior to boarding.

  • Dogs
    • Bordetella - every 6 months or annually as recommended by your vet
    • Rabies - annually or every 3 years, based on documentation provided by vet
    • DHPP - Booster at age 1, every 3 years thereafter
  • Cats
    • Rabies - annually
    • Feline leukemia - annually
    • Respiratory-Distemper - annually

Our boarding rates include supervised walks through our Trails of Tails walking park daily and will also enjoy a romp in the private fenced in fields just beyond our private terraces. For additional activities, see rates below:

8. Disclaimers & Additional Provisions Relating to Boarding

CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT is happy to offer the opportunity for your pet(s) to be boarded at our facility. Carefully read and agree to the following terms before allowing your pet(s) to board at CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT:

  1. Standard precautions will be used against the injury, escape, or death of this pet. CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT and staff will not be held responsible for injuries that may occur, provided standard care and precautions have been followed as determined at the sole discretion of CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT. In no event shall CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT, ITS OWNERS AND AGENTS be liable for illnesses that arise during Owner's pet's stay or after Owner's pet has left the facility.
  2. Owner understands and agrees that in admitting Owner's pet(s) to CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT all health and behavior problems have been fully disclosed to the best of owner's knowledge.
  3. CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT reserves the right to refuse to accept a pet(s) if at Check-In it appears to us, in our sole discretion, that such pet(s) is sick or that its behavior could jeopardize the health or safety of other pets in our facility or our staff.
  4. Owner fully understands that any health or behavior problems that develop during their pet's stay at CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT will be handled and treated as deemed appropriate by the employees at CYPRESS FALLS PETE RESORT and owner agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any and all expenses arising or relating thereto.
  5. Valid forms of payment include cash, Master Card, Visa, American Express or Discover. We no longer accept checks.
  6. All charges incurred by the Owner under this agreement shall be due and payable in full upon pick up of the pet(s). Owner agrees that the pet(s) shall not leave CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT until such time as all charges incurred by the Owner have been paid in full.
  7. Monday - Saturday: If pet is picked up before 1 p.m., there is no charge for that day. Sunday If pet is picked up before 2 p.m., there is no charge for that day.

I have read, understand, and agree to all provisions of this agreement. I fully intend to pick up my pet(s) on the date I have specified. If circumstances change, I will notify CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT of the new pick up date and assume responsibility for any additional charges incurred.

3. Terms Relating to Doggy Day Care

  1. Doggy Day Care is for happy, healthy dogs that are neutered or spayed. Doggy Day Care is not recommended for dogs that have medical conditions such as diabetes, seizures, heart murmurs, or any other medical condition that may be aggravated by excitement or rough play. CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT assumes no responsibility for the aggravation of any medical disorders caused by your dog's participation in Doggy Day Care.
  2. Doggy Day Care is also not for dogs that have temperament problems such as aggression or extreme shyness with either dogs or people. If your dog is found to exhibit any of these behaviors, they will be removed from Doggy Day Care and you will receive a note with an explanation as to why your dog was removed. CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT has a no tolerance policy. The daily fee will not be refunded for this day of Doggy Day Care or boarding.
  3. All pet(s) must be up-to-date on all vaccines, including bordetella, rabies, and DHPP. Official updated vaccination records must be provided prior to entry into daycare.
  4. If any pet is found to have fleas and/or ticks at check-in time, CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT will treat the pet as we deem necessary and owner will be responsible for the cost of such treatment incurred.
  5. Owner agrees and understands that there are inherent risks of illness or injury when dealing with animals and humans in a group setting. Such risks include, but are not limited to: problems associated with rough play such as bite wounds and scratches, Canine Cough, or other illness. Owner understands and agrees that under no circumstances shall CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT be responsible for illness or injury to pet(s) participating in Doggy Day Care.
  6. All charges incurred by the Owner under this agreement shall be due and payable in full upon pick up of the pet(s). Owner agrees that the pet(s) shall not leave CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT until such time as all charges incurred by the Owner have been paid in full.

DAYS AND HOURS: Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Half day retreat is 7 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

AGE REQUIREMENTS: Puppies as young as 6 months of age are welcome to join our puppy day care group provided our temperament test determines they are emotionally ready to join the group. All puppies must be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age and must be current on all puppy shots.

EMERGENCY: In the event of an emergency, CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT will first attempt to contact the owner, followed by an attempt to contact the veterinarian listed above. If these attempts are unsuccessful, staff will contact emergency veterinarian of CYPRESS FALLS PET RESORT.

Occasionally it is determined that dematting is necessary if there is a risk of excessive hair pulling during a normal grooming process due to the condition of the coat. There is an additional charge for this service.

5. Terms

Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following conditions:

  1. The animal is fit and healthy. Any grooming, which takes place on an elderly animal or animal with health problems, will be at the owner‘s risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health/skin problems for which the pet resort cannot be held liable.
  2. Dematting/thinning out of matted hair may cause patchiness and hair loss. Consent to remove the matted hair is on this understanding.
  3. Shaving of pets will dramatically change the pet‘s appearance and the hair will be very close to skin. This may expose pre- existing skin complaints. Your written permission will be required to perform this service.

  2. We groom all breeds including mixed breeds.
  3. Only the finest shampoos and conditioners are used and are made from all-natural ingredients. Our products are non-toxic, biodegradable and cruelty-free, which means they are safe for your pet and friendly to our environment.
